Well it's 2009 so I guess it's time for a new look at me.......... New Year etc etc.
HF or Fishy or Mr Fish... feel free to choose, you can even call me Brian if you like, was good enough for me parents after all....
Think that's me about to hit 9 yrs on Feesch this month. Blimey time flies.
Biggest thing to have happened to me in recent times was being made redundant from my job. Kinda ironic in that I finally moved over here to Bo'ness in 2007 to be nearer work. Maybe a blessing in disguise as I'd like to get out of manufacturing. Ideally want to get into IT Support, so starting an online college course shortly which will hopefully lead to get some Microsoft qualifications. Desktop Support for starters, then Installation and Configuration is next. And being unemployed I get it for free. Normally just the exams would cost hundreds of ££.
What else about me then......... still enjoying my fishing and gardening. And planning on getting myself a bit fitter in 2009. Don't really like going to the gym, so it's going to be walking and cycling for me. Might even find out some interesting things about the area I live in now. Would love to walk the West Highland Way from Glasgow to Fort William at sometime, but that's a 95 mile hike which is probably beyond me at the present time. But it's a target to aim at. Climbing Ben Nevis is another goal I have.
Going back to the gardening, I'm thinking seriously of converting the back lawn into raised vegetable plots. Several reasons, I can grow veg that I'd like to eat, save some cash into the bargain, and just the self-satisfaction of doing it. Grown spuds for the last couple of years in grow bags so now time to expand. Last year had raspberries as well. Quite fancy more rasps, strawbs and rhubarb as the price of fruit is extortionate. Might cost me a good bit to get the project up and running, but should pay off long term.
In me feeschy life I run several groups. In no particular order, I run the Scotland, U2, Only Fools and Horses, Quizzical and Gardening groups. Much fun is had by all... so feel free to pop in and have a gander !!!

Thought I'd add this ickle bit here as well
seeing as I've become rather addicted to it....
